Privacy Policy

Last updated: 7 July 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Zcentric ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects personal data in connection with the zcentric.com website and our game Loomic (the "App"). It also describes your rights under the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and similar laws.

For any privacy question or request, contact us at privacy@zcentric.com. Zcentric is the data controller for the processing described here.

1. Information we collect

The App has no account or sign-in. We do not ask for your name, email, phone number, contacts, photos, or location, and we do not collect personally identifying information directly.

  • On-device data. Your settings, level progress, scores, and completion times are stored only on your device and are not sent to us.
  • Advertising data. The App shows ads through Google AdMob. Google and its ad partners may collect device identifiers (such as your advertising ID), IP address, approximate (non-precise) location derived from IP, and ad-interaction and diagnostic data to serve, measure, and secure ads. In the EEA, UK, and Switzerland we ask for your consent (via Google's consent form) before showing personalized ads.
  • Technical and log data. The App fetches a shared daily puzzle from our servers. Those public requests process your IP address and basic request logs transiently for security and reliability; they are not tied to an identity.

2. How we use your information

  • Operate the game and deliver the shared daily puzzle.
  • Show ads, and — where you consent — personalized ads.
  • Detect and prevent ad fraud and abuse.
  • Maintain, analyze, and improve the game.
  • Comply with legal obligations.

3. Legal bases (GDPR)

  • Consent — personalized advertising. You can withdraw consent at any time (see "Advertising and your choices" and "Your rights").
  • Legitimate interests — showing non-personalized ads, securing the service, and improving the game.

4. Advertising and your choices

We use Google AdMob to display ads. Google's handling of data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services. You can:

  • Reset or delete your advertising ID and limit ad personalization in your device settings (Android: Settings → Privacy → Ads; iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking / Apple Advertising).
  • In consent regions, change or withdraw your advertising consent from the App's privacy settings, which re-opens the consent form.

5. How we share information

We share data only as needed to run the service:

  • Google — for advertising (AdMob) and consent management.
  • Hosting / infrastructure providers — to operate the servers that deliver the daily puzzle.

We do not sell your personal data.

6. International transfers

Some providers (such as Google) are located in the United States. Where personal data is transferred outside your region, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

7. Data retention

Data stored on your device is removed when you uninstall the App. Server request logs are kept only briefly for security and reliability. Advertising data is retained by Google per its policies.

8. Your rights

Because the App has no account, we hold little or no personal data about you directly — most advertising data is held by Google. Depending on where you live, you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. EU/UK residents may also lodge a complaint with their local data protection authority. To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@zcentric.com; we respond within the timeframes required by law.

9. Children

The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. Ad settings are configured accordingly. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, provide notice in the App or on this page.
